Local events
During the raising awareness campaign, the four partners of the project organized 33 local events and reached more than 670 youth workers, specialists, educators, local representatives, etc. The main aim of these local events was to raise awareness about the condition Dyspraxia and to present the results of the project. During the events, each facilitator worked alongside the participants, guiding them through the challenges faced by people with dyspraxia. Participants gained valuable insight into identifying dyspraxia and discovered effective ways to deal with the difficulties associated with it.
Partner Meetings
Among the project, the four partners had 3 meetings.
The kick-off meeting was held in Istanbul, Turkiye. During the meeting, we had the chance to meet with the Prof. Dr. Burhanettin Hacıcaferoğlu, the Province Director of Province Directorate of Youth and Sports in İstanbul. The event was attended by 23 youth workers, psychologists, coaches, physiotherapists and other professionals working directly with youth. Our team presented the aims of the "Inclusion Alertness" project, after which we discussed with the representatives of the directorate similar initiatives, shared good practices from each specialist’s experience and created contacts for future collaboration.
The next partners’ meeting was conducted in Bulgaria. Together with our partners, we have unveiled the final version of the Toolkit, created under the project and organized a training camp for youth workers aiming to increase their knowledge regarding the condition of Dyspraxia and to teach them how to use the Toolkit as well as to test on practice and gather invaluable feedback from our participants regarding the activities included in the Toolbox.
The final transnational meeting of the Inclusion Alertness project took place in Cyprus. During the meeting, we had a chance to discuss the project outputs, checking every detail to ensure the highest quality outcomes and to prepare for the final conference. During the conference, we gathered with local specialists and interested stakeholders in order to explore deeper the world of dyspraxia, shedding light on this often-misunderstood neurological disorder. We had the pleasure of presenting our project outputs and engaging in lively discussions with our audience. Plus, we got to swap invaluable insights and best practices from our specialists' experiences!
